The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team located in Sudbury. Relocation will be required for this position. The role is a permanent position, working a Monday to Friday schedule. This posting is for an existing position vacancy.
As a Recruiter, through strategic partnerships with Hiring Managers and in accordance with company policies and legislation, you will be responsible for managing the complete recruitment cycle - from the sourcing of candidates to the onboarding of the successful applicant. The Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent.
Additionally, in this position you will:

Lead full-cycle recruitment for technical and non‑technical roles, leveraging technology and maintaining a strong focus on diversity.

Source and attract high-quality talent through multiple channels and established pipelines.

Assess candidate motivation, fit, and qualifications through discovery calls, screenings, and interviews.

Coordinate and conduct Behavioral/Technical interviews and support group selection processes.

Manage candidate progression with clear communication, timely feedback, and a positive experience.

Recommend hires, prepare and present offers, support onboarding, maintain market awareness, and partner with stakeholders as a recruitment advisor and brand ambassador.

About You
Education:
-
Post-Secondary education in Business and/or Human Resources.
-
Registered Professional Recruitment (RRP) is considered an asset.
Experience:
-
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition, in a fast-paced, complex, large, and dynamic organization.

Experience with large volume recruitment efforts and conducting a diverse range of behavioral interviews.
-
Experience working with applicant tracking systems and other HRIS, such as Peoplesoft, SAP or Eightfold.

Experience working locally within our Vale Base Metals operations will be considered an asset.
Skills:

Excellent, client-focused verbal and written communication skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment.

Strong negotiation skills.

Strong digital literacy (Microsoft Office: including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
