Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated licensed Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various automotive systems, ensuring vehicles are serviced to the highest standards.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations.
- Utilize power tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
- Assemble and maintain automotive components as needed, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding vehicle conditions and recommended services.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks related to vehicle repairs and parts handling.
- Collaborate with other technicians in a private shop setting to ensure timely completion of service orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic is essential.
- Familiarity with all makes and models of vehicles is ideal.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to weld is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and address their needs.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks associated with automotive repair work.
