As a Centre Coordinator at Scholars Education Centre, you are the heart and soul of our learning community. While managing day-to-day operations and maintaining a vibrant, welcoming centre are key parts of the role, your true superpower lies in people connection.
You will serve as the primary bridge between our centre, parents, and students—building deep trust, inspiring young learners, and keeping families engaged in their educational journey. Equally important, you will act as a mentor, coach, and guide for our instructional team, empowering teachers with the feedback, support, and resources they need to deliver extraordinary educational experiences every single day.
Key Responsibilities
1. Relationship Building & Client Connection (Students & Families)
- Be the Face of Scholars: Welcome students and parents with enthusiasm, creating a warm, energetic, and supportive environment from the moment they walk through the door.
- Inspire & Motivate Students: Build meaningful, encouraging relationships with learners of all ages, celebrating their progress and keeping them motivated to reach their full potential.
- Partner with Parents: Proactively keep parents and guardians informed on student progress through structured conferences and regular, open communication, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
2. Instructional Leadership & Teacher Coaching
- Guide & Mentor Teachers: Provide daily support, encouragement, and constructive feedback to our teaching staff to elevate classroom delivery and support professional growth.
- Ensure Educational Quality: Provide oversight on educational policies, procedures, and curriculum delivery, helping teachers adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs.
- Champion Team Culture: Foster a collaborative, high-morale team culture where teachers feel supported, valued, and empowered to do their best work.
3. Centre Operations & Administration
- Manage Daily Workflow: Oversee scheduling for teachers and students to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain Centre Standards: Take pride in the Centre’s professional appearance, ensuring daily/weekly cleaning tasks are completed and the learning environment is safe, clean, and organized.
- Open & Close Facility: Securely open and close the centre following standard operational and safety procedures.
Qualifications & Traits of a Successful Coordinator
- A Passion for People & Connection: Proven ability to build authentic, trusting relationships with children, teens, and parents.
- Leadership & Mentorship Skills: Experience coaching, guiding, or leading a team with empathy, enthusiasm, and direct communication.
- Exceptional Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to persuade, de-escalate, and articulate value clearly to clients.
- Background in Education or Childcare: Prior experience working with children and/or managing educational programming.
- Operational Agility: Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office; experience with Google Workspace and/or CRM platforms is a strong asset.

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
