Position Details
- Job Type: Independent Contractor / Subcontractor
- Location: Cochrane, AB
- Schedule: Part-time with flexible block shifts (Opportunity to expand as caseload grows)
- Compensation: Competitive Fee Split
- Clinic Support: Full billing and reception administration, online booking software, direct internal cross-referrals, and active local marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and deliver targeted acupuncture treatments.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and treatment notes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members on patient care plans.
- Uphold active practice standards, safety protocols, and hygiene requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Active registration and good standing with the College of Acupuncturists of Alberta (CAA) (required).
- Professional liability insurance (required).
- Experience treating diverse patient populations and complex conditions (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach.
