The Supervisor opening is a full-time position requiring flexible availability including weekends and evenings. This position is for our Calgary location.
The successful candidate will report to the Store Manager and assist in managing and developing a professional staff of sales associates to drive sales, provide excellent service to our customers, meet company goals, and maximize store promotions and marketing initiatives. Sales growth will be achieved through training and coaching staff to accomplish their professional and financial goals.
Management must also possess exceptional administrative and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include hiring, training, coaching, merchandising, selling and exceeding customer expectations & store opening/closing duties.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years experience in retail management. Management must be highly motivated and energetic and have excellent interpersonal skills. Computer proficiency is required and past retail, display design, and business training is preferred. Formal sales training and Industry experience would also be assets in the role. Prior experience in the baby industry is an asset.
