Position: Reporting & Data Analyst
Mirvish Productions is a Canadian theatre management and production company, based in Toronto, founded by David Mirvish in 1987. Mirvish Productions is, today, Canada's largest commercial theatre production company, operating out of four theatres in downtown Toronto.
Reporting to the Insights Manager, the Reporting & Data Analyst supports reporting, analytics, data quality, and reporting infrastructure initiatives across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and distribute recurring sales and performance reporting for stakeholders inside and outside the organization
- Analyze ticket sales, revenue, pricing, attendance, and audience trends
- Support forecasting and performance analysis for productions, subscriptions, and promotional campaigns
- At the request of the Insights Manager prepare, maintain, and review Gross Potentials for upcoming productions
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards
- Translate reporting requirements into meaningful reports and analytical outputs
- Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies through routine data validation and quality assurance procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of reporting data
- Document reporting methodologies, business rules, and data definitions
- Support data governance initiatives and help maintain organizational data integrity standards
- Maintain and enhance centralized reporting tools and processes
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve data flows between Tessitura, Excel, and other reporting systems using Power Query, Power Automate, and similar tools
- Assist in the development and maintenance of reporting datasets and data models
- Manage reporting and analytics requests from stakeholders across the organization and external partners
- Collaborate with departments to understand reporting requirements and develop solutions
- Provide data extracts, customer segmentation, and operational reporting as required
- Support special projects, audits, system upgrades, implementations, and organizational initiatives
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and data modeling
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Experience working with CRM, ticketing, financial, or customer data systems
- Experience working with large datasets, reporting systems, and data analysis tools
- Demonstrated ability to learn and work with complex business systems and processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience querying and analyzing data using SQL
- Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Sisense, or similar platforms
- Experience with data visualization and dashboard development
- Experience supporting data governance or data quality initiatives
- Experience with Tessitura or other CRM, ticketing, or customer data systems
- Understanding of commercial theatre, live entertainment, ticketing, or performing arts industries
- University degree or college diploma in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
This full-time position is located in Toronto, Ontario and will begin ASAP.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
