Hat News & Specialty Market is looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Part-Time Cashier to join our team!
Position: Cashier
Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week, with the opportunity to pick up additional hours by covering unfilled shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service with a friendly attitude.
- Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.
- Restock shelves and keep merchandise organized.
- Maintain a clean and tidy checkout and sales area.
- Assist customers with questions and product locations.
- Help cover unfilled shifts when needed.
- Perform other general store duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Previous retail or cashier experience is an asset but not required—we're happy to train the right person.
