Position Overview: The Pastry Chef at Ex-Animo plays a key role in upholding our commitment to delivering high-quality pastries to the Greater Vancouver community. This position requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about baking, consistency, and creativity. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a skilled Pastry Chef to contribute to our dynamic and expanding team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and work with staff to prepare and bake pastry goods such as croissants, cronuts, cream puffs, and cruffins.
- Produce large quantities of pastries efficiently.
- Present baked goods in a visually appealing and professional manner.
- Collaborate with management and staff to develop new recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a pastry or related baking role.
- Hands-on experience preparing and baking pastry products.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
