Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable Hairstylist to join our vibrant salon team. The Hairstylist will be responsible for providing high-quality hair services, maintaining sanitation standards, and contributing to the overall client experience.
Duties
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, blowouts, and treatments tailored to client preferences
- Provide exceptional customer service by listening carefully to clients’ needs and offering professional recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all tools, equipment, and workstations in accordance with health regulations
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing payments
- Stay current with industry trends and continuously improve skills through ongoing education and training
- Create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and positive client relationships
Requirements
- Proven experience as a hairstylist with a strong portfolio of work
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon setting
- Ability to upsell products and services in a professional manner
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Retail sales experience is a plus
- Previous front desk or administrative experience is desirable but not required
- Certification or licensing as required by state regulations for hairstylists
