Personal Lines Broker (RIBO Licensed)
Whitby, Ontario (Durham Region) | Full-Time | Hybrid Opportunity
Salary: $55,000–$60,000 plus commission and benefits
DIS Financial Group is a growing, client-focused insurance brokerage based in Durham Region. We are looking for a motivated and service-oriented Personal Lines Broker to join our team.
This position is ideal for a RIBO-licensed broker with 2–5 years of personal lines experience who is seeking more responsibility, professional development, and a clear path for career growth within a growing brokerage.
What You'll Do
- Manage and service an assigned personal lines book of business
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients
- Review insurance needs and provide appropriate coverage recommendations
- Prepare quotes, remarket policies, and process renewals
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and account rounding
- Process policy changes and endorsements
- Assist clients with claims-related documentation and inquiries
- Maintain accurate client records using Applied Epic and insurer portals
- Generate new business opportunities through referrals and existing client relationships
What We're Looking For
- Current RIBO licence (required)
- 2–5 years of personal lines insurance experience
- Strong understanding of personal insurance products and coverages
- Experience working with insurer portals
- Applied Epic experience is considered an asset
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Professional, client-focused approach
- Commercial insurance exposure is considered an asset
