Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, lobbies, and common spaces to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, stripping, waxing, and polishing to keep surfaces looking pristine.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, trash bags, and other consumables to ensure continuous availability.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report issues promptly.
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing filters, or minor repairs to support the overall upkeep of the building.
- Follow safety protocols and use proper cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly to create a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality in cleaning tasks.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques related to facilities maintenance is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork and safety compliance.
