We are offering jobs to experienced or inexperienced drivers we have plenty of positions. . New drivers are welcome so are experienced.
Long Haul: $0.62 cents per mile subject to change depending on experience. 4% vacation pay on top of this rate. $35 per pick after the first. Safety Bonus every year.
Our regular long haul routes include:
BC to California & California back to BC.
Job Duties:
Supervising the loading and unloading of goods, Plan travel schedules and routes, receive and relay information to central dispatcher, oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
Document knowledge:
Driver E-logbook, inspection report, (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), maintenance and repair reports, trip reports, accident or incident reports.
Essential Skills:
Significant use of memory, continuous learning, finding information, job task planning and organizing, critical thinking, decision making, problem solving, working with others, oral communication, writing, document use, reading text.
Type of Travel:
Long Haul, Regional, Provincial/territorial. Being away from home for 4-6 days, evening and weekend work will be required.
Skills Requirement:
A valid Class 1 license
Clean drivers abstract (no greater than 30 days old)
Must pass drug test, DOT physical and meet DOT driving standards.
