We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to serve as the creative leader and primary client representative for a portfolio of luxury residential projects. The Role
As Design Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to custom home clients while leading the design studio through all phases of project development. Your responsibilities will focus on three key areas:
1. Client Leadership & Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact and architectural guide for high-net-worth clients, delivering a premium, concierge-level experience.
Build strong, long-term client relationships and translate lifestyle goals into innovative design solutions.
Represent the organization professionally and passionately in interactions with clients, consultants, trades, media, and the broader community.
2. Design Leadership & Studio Management
Lead projects from conceptual design through completion while ensuring the original architectural vision is maintained throughout detailing, engineering, and construction.
Balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on design work, including conceptual planning, renderings, and technical detailing.
Resolve complex design and technical challenges through thoughtful, context-driven problem solving.
3. Project Delivery & Collaboration
Oversee the production of architectural and interior design documentation.
Collaborate closely with construction teams, consultants, trades, and suppliers to ensure successful project execution.
Manage development permit and building permit applications, municipal approvals, and regulatory reviews.

Qualifications
Professional Degree in Architecture or equivalent architectural design experience.
Extensive experience as a Lead Designer, Senior Architectural Designer, or Project Architect.
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in high-end custom residential design.
Advanced proficiency in conceptual design, rendering, technical detailing, specifications, and presentation development.
Expert-level knowledge of SketchUp and Revit.
Strong understanding of applicable residential building codes and municipal planning regulations.
Previous Design-Build experience is considered a significant asset.
