We are growing our Quality Assurance team and looking for an intermediate professional who is passionate about precision, quality, and making a meaningful impact while getting some experience under their belt. In this role, you will help review and approve quality documents and records for medicinal cannabis, while ensuring cannabis medicinal products meet regulations, safety, and quality standards while supporting dynamic Quality and Manufacturing environments.

Phyton Biotech determines an individual’s pay based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. The compensation range for this role is $65,000K - $74,000.

A day in the department would include:
· Supports continuous improvement of the quality systems
· Provides quality support for internal departments
· Performs reviews of quality documents, such as SOPs, test methods, non-conformances, OOS’s/OOT’s, CAPAs, change controls, incidents, Certificates of Analysis, protocols, reports and risk assessments
· Performs reviews of QC, Operations, Logistics and Engineering quality records, such as analytical data, completed batch records, completed forms, executed qualification/validation protocols and reports
· Release intermediate products, raw materials and packaging components
· Performs document control, vendor qualification and product labelling activities
· Performs internal audits and assist with customer and regulatory audits
· Provides and support training to junior team members
Qualifications & Experience:
· 3 years of Quality Control experience is required
· BS in analytical chemistry or a life-sciences related discipline required
· Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is an asset, including food, nutraceutical, cannabis, or pharmaceutical production
· Knowledge of ERP and Quality Management Systems an asset
