Penn-co Construction is looking to add a Parts & Inventory Coordinator to support our Equipment Department. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced shop environment and enjoys both the administrative and hands-on aspects of parts and logistics.
You’ll play a key role in keeping our equipment running by ensuring parts are sourced, received, organized, and delivered efficiently. If you’re organized, mechanically inclined, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves, this position offers a strong opportunity to be part of a high-performing team.
The parts clerk will assist the maintenance team with ordering and organizing parts and supplies at the shop in Blumenort, MB. This position reports to the Equipment Manager.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Regularly work with vendors to order parts requested by team and deliverer in a timely manner as per supervisor and mechanics request
- Maintain an organized storage area of all parts
- Receive, stock, label and tag all parts for use or distribution
- Perform inventory checks to ensure all stock levels are correct
- Keep records and files of parts up to date
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements

Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Previous experience with equipment parts
- Mechanically inclined an asset
- Good computer skills, basic excel and experience using a parts inventory/service order system
- Able to work alone and complete tasks that have been assigned
- Physical capabilities necessary to preform the duties of the position, lift up to 50 pounds
- Completion of grade 12, supplemented by related training and experience
- Good problem solving skills and able to prioritize duties in a fast paced environment
