Windsor Home Hardware Building Centre is seeking a Merchandising Associate supports in-store and/or warehouse operations by ensuring products are displayed effectively to maximize sales. This includes setting up departments to planogram, ensuring pricing accuracy, stocking shelves, arranging displays, maintaining inventory accuracy, and providing an excellent customer experience through visual presentation and product availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock and organize shelves, displays, and promotional areas according to planograms and merchandising standards.
- Rotate products to ensure freshness and reduce waste (if applicable).
- Assist with setting up and tearing down promotional displays.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management.
- Perform regular audits to ensure accurate pricing and signage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the merchandising area.
- Collaborate with store and sales staff to align visual presentation with sales goals.
- Follow safety and loss prevention procedures at all times.
- Provide basic customer assistance when needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail or merchandising experience a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with planograms and basic inventory systems is an asset.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team.
This position reports to the General Manager and Assistant Manager.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 32 per week
