Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shop Hand to join our team. The Shop Hand will assist with various tasks around the shop, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and efficient workflow. Duties
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining the shop area to ensure a safe and organized environment
- Support the team with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Help with basic repairs or assembly tasks as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors or clients
- Organize tools, supplies, and equipment to ensure easy access and proper storage
- Perform general cleaning duties to uphold safety standards and cleanliness protocols
- Support other team members with miscellaneous tasks to facilitate daily operations
Experience
- Prior experience in cleaning or maintenance roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills are a plus, as the role involves interaction with clients and visitors
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on various responsibilities as needed
- Must have a clean drivers abstract
- The ability to get a fork lift license
