Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, hospice, and home care environments. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities by delivering personalized care with empathy and professionalism. Duties
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medications following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Support patients with mobility, transfers, and heavy lifting as needed
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
- Assist with medical appointments and coordinate transportation when necessary
- Follow care plans accurately and document care provided in compliance with regulations
- Engage clients in recreational activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice, or home care is preferred
- Knowledge of patient care, dementia care, senior care, and working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Ability to perform caregiving duties including medication administration, meal preparation, and light cleaning
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads safely and assist with mobility tasks
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
- Valid background check and ability to pass any required health screenings or certifications
- Certification in caregiving or related fields is a plus but not mandatory
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays may be beneficial
