Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Draftsman to join our team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and schematics for Grain Handling Equipment and Structures. This role requires proficiency in SOLIDWORKS software and a strong understanding of drafting standards, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and installation crews to produce accurate and comprehensive design documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using SOLIDWORKS software
- Interpret architectural and engineering plans to produce accurate drafting layouts.
- Collaborate with project teams to revise designs based on feedback and evolving project requirements.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Maintain organized digital files of all drawings and documentation for easy access and updates.
- Support the review process by checking drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with SolidWorks.
- Strong knowledge of drafting standards, schematics, and construction documentation processes.
- Background in civil engineering or related construction experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Prior experience working on construction or engineering projects is advantageous.
