Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled Welders/Fabricators to join our production team. You will work in our Moncton fabrication facility, welding and assembling aluminum and metal cladding components to precise specifications for commercial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum and steel components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication specifications.
- Set up and operate fabrication equipment including brakes, shears, and saws.
- Assemble metal cladding panels, frames, and rainscreen components.
- Inspect finished products for quality, dimensional accuracy, and weld integrity.
- Maintain welding equipment and perform routine maintenance.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Welding certification (CWB) or equivalent trade certification preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding, particularly on aluminum.
- Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
- Experience with metal fabrication equipment (brakes, shears, press brakes).
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Experience in the cladding or construction industry is an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
