Job Description
- Research and development products for our CNC ecosystem with a focus on motor systems and drivers (Spindles, servos, steppers, etc.).
- Experiment, customize and reimagine motor products to power next generation user experiences. This includes both mechanical and controls aspects.
- Working with other hardware and software engineers to integrate solutions into the wider ecosystem in a practical and cost effective manner.
Required Skills and Experience:
Hard
- 1 year hands-on experience with machine building (CNC machines, 3D Printers, robots, etc.)
- Mechanical and electronics design (bonus if you have firmware development experience)
- Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems Engineering, or a related field
Soft
- Hands on, experimental and proactive approach to problem solving.
- Drive, dedication and ownership in delivering end user impact through their work.
- General passion for making new things and a love for tinkering.
