RIGHT SERVICE RIGHT CHOICE is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customs Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the customs clearance process, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and facilitating smooth movement of goods across borders. Your expertise will help optimize supply chain operations, reduce delays, and support our global sourcing initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where process improvement and data analysis skills are highly valued. The Customs Coordinator will collaborate closely with procurement, freight providers and 3PL partners to streamline order fulfillment and shipping & receiving operations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate customs clearance activities for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations and documentation requirements.
- Review invoices, manifests and other supporting documents for conformity to customs and corporate regulations
- Data Entry of commercial invoices into Customs Operating system
- Obtains customs paperwork by calling client when required
- Verifies documentation for rating compliance
- Prepares and submits release packages to Canada Border Services Agency
- Provides customer service as required
- Provides accurate information and assistance to customers requiring information
- Processes entries to meet Company and Canada Border Services Agency compliance standards
- Be available on-call for customs clearance and any customs related issues after hours and weekends.
- Other duties and assignments as required.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of cross-border operations, including customs, brokers, clients, and long-haul drivers.
- Proficient in PC applications, including MS Office,Avaal and Border Connect.
- Strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
- Ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere.
