Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated General Assistant to support our team in various operational tasks. The successful candidate will assist with cleaning, food preparation, and customer service duties, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent guest experiences.
Duties
- Perform cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the facility
- Assist in food preparation and cooking activities in the kitchen or food service areas
- Handle food items safely, ensuring proper storage and presentation
- Support restaurant or hotel staff with serving guests and managing tables
- Maintain cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Help with general hospitality tasks such as setting up dining spaces or assisting guests as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation
- Support team members with various ad hoc tasks to ensure efficient service delivery
Experience
- Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
- Experience in food handling, food preparation, or cooking is advantageous
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and maintaining hygiene standards is beneficial
- Previous roles involving serving or hospitality duties will be considered a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
