Located centrally in Mississauga, Ontario, Questron is a 27 year old, technology company that has expertise in providing innovative instrumentation solutions to analytical laboratories. Most of our products are designed, developed, manufactured and sold at our Mississauga facility and require expert inputs of mechatronics, software, materials science, and chemistry disciplines. Currently, we are seeking a university graduate with a minimum of Bachelor degree in electrical engineering who is ready to apply his/her learned skills and knowledge of electronics.
Working under the direction of Engineering manager, the incumbent will be responsible for proper function and design upkeep of our electronics assemblies. This requires having good knowledge of not only digital and analog electronics, but also firmware programming of microcontrollers (we use Infineon PSoc6 and STM chips). Being able to generate documentation required for parts manufacturing, design of electronics test jigs, and development or modification of parts specifications using MS Office suite of programs, as well a familiarity with PCB design using Orcad software application would be a plus.
Candidate should have a good technical problem-solving ability, excellent inter-personal skills, and above average ability to communicate well in English, both orally and in writing.
