As a Clinical Instructor, your primary responsibility will be the support, education, and development of laboratory students, through training and continuing education. You will promote excellence and consistency in laboratory practice. In addition, you may develop and maintain training and educational materials and systems.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited program in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT). Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum three (3) – five (5) years current experience working in a clinical laboratory setting. Knowledge of student education training programs. Experience in preceptorship, laboratory safety, quality and accreditation requirements. Demonstrated excellence in organizational skills, and both oral and written communication skills. Intermediate Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Visio, Excel) skills. Experience working with a diverse group of stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of CSMLS Competency Profiles. Experience in training students. Demonstrated ability in analytical reasoning, troubleshooting complex problems, and decision-making skills. Document management experience is an asset.
