Location: Ladner- Crossroads Program
Hours: 30 Hours per week, Mon-Fri (hours are typically scheduled between 8:30-3:30)
Salary: $25.95 starting wage
Start Date: July 13, 2026
We are looking for a Community Living Worker to join our Sources Community Living Services team! This individual must be passionate, engaging, and empathetic about working with people.

Description of Position:
Sources Community Living provides all-encompassing care for individuals who have been referred to us by Community Living British Columbia. We are currently recruiting for a casual Community Living Worker to work in the day services program that operates Monday to Friday, 9 am-3 pm. This program supports individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health-related needs to access recreational, social, and employment aspirations. Our mission is to enable the pursuit of the best quality of life possible for our clients. We do this by fostering independence, well-being, and social participation.
Reporting to: Crossroads Assistant Manager and Community Inclusion Manager
General Responsibilities:

Program-specific Responsibilities:
- keep notes and review progress
- Maintain a safe work environment for both staff and service users alike, including following and monitoring all positive behaviour support strategies as they apply to clients in service. This includes being confident and familiar with Non-Violent Crisis Intervention material.
Physical Demands of Job:
- Lifting/Pulling/Pushing - 50%, Walking/Moving Around - 75%, Sitting - 25%, Time Spent Outside - 50%, Bending/Crouching - 25%
Cognitive Demands of Job:

Qualifications:
- You have empathy and are self-aware
- Take initiative and work with integrity
- You have the physical ability to engage in a variety of home and community-based activities
- You are knowledgeable or have experience in the areas of mental health and intellectual disabilities
- You have a valid driver's license- mandatory
