About the Property:

The Role:
We are seeking a reliable, community-minded Resident Manager (or Resident Manager Couple) to oversee this new building as it transitions through the final finishing touches and leasing phases.
Because this is a part-time role with flexible hours, it is a great opportunity for a recently retired couple, or individuals with existing flexible employment, who want to live in a premium new building, take active pride in its up-keep, and help cultivate a warm, welcoming community from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tenant Relations & Move-Ins: Welcome new residents, assist with move-in/move-out walkthroughs, and field general day-to-day tenant inquiries.
- Leasing, Compliance, Collections: Coordinating with respective departments from head office.
- New Build Transition Support: Assist the team in facilitating the transition from construction completion to active operations. Help monitor the finishing details and coordinate with on-site sub-contractors or trade appointments.
- Building Care & Upkeep: Maintain the daily cleanliness and presentation of the building's common areas, entrances, and grounds.
- Community Building: Act as the friendly face of Ferrier Flats, fostering a safe, respectful, and neighborly environment for all residents.

Qualifications:

- Previous caretaking, hospitality, or property management experience is a definite asset, but the right attitude and pride of ownership are our top priorities.
