Position Status: Seasonal
Wage: $17.60 - $18.50 per hour

Position Summary:
The Lifeguard will be responsible for supervising and monitoring all water activities on Lake Horseshoe, ensuring guest safety at all times. They enforce safety rules, respond to emergencies, and provide first aid when needed, all while creating a positive guest experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Open and close Lake facilities

Clean/tidy and maintain the man-made lake front, beach area, lake furniture, etc.

Ensure safety of all guests through proper supervision of waterfront, beach and dock area

Attempt to prevent any incidents by working within the scope of your training and duties

Be prepared to deal with any emergencies (first aid or otherwise)

Meet and greet all the guests, attend as much as possible to their needs

Check wristbands for anyone entering man-made lake and inflatables

Be alert at all times
Qualifications:

CPR and First Aid certificate

NLS Certification
-
Be able to be on your feet for a full shift, up to 8 hours, while standing outdoors in hot weather conditions.

Be able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Be able to physically meet the demands of the role
