We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who love working with kids or have a passion for movement and physical activity to join our team as Kids Movement Instructors.
We specialize in providing high-quality kids yoga, dance and gym classes at different locations across the Guelph and Waterloo Regions. Our mission is to promote physical fitness, mindfulness, and a lifelong love of physical activity for children.
Job Description: Do you have a passion for working with children or a keen interest in mindfulness or yoga? Busy Minds Ed. has the perfect opportunity for you! We are currently seeking Kids Movement Instructors to lead our dynamic movement and physical activity classes for children.
**PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT FULL TIME. IT IS PART TIME CASUAL, BASED ON YOUR SCHEDULE**
Responsibilities: As a Kids Movement Instructor at Busy Minds Education, you will:
- Plan and conduct exciting movement and physical activity classes for children aged 2 - 13 years.
- Teach engaging lesson plans that promote physical fitness, coordination, and healthy lifestyles.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and teamwork.
- Skillfully manage class behavior while maintaining a safe and structured learning environment.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to develop and enhance our program curriculum.
Qualifications:
- A passion for working with children or a strong interest in kinesiology and physical activity.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm, creativity, and the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
- Reliability and punctuality.
Requirements:
- A deep love and understanding for working with children.
- A passion for yoga and its benefits.
- Dance Instruction is a bonus
- Commitment to providing excellent instruction.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to different locations throughout the region

Experience:
- Yoga teaching: 1 year (preferred)
