Job Summary
Eco Plant Creations is a high end landscaping company located in Collingwood.
We are seeking 1-2 dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for performing various tasks to support construction, maintenance, and other labor-intensive projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety protocols. The foreperson will assist leading job sites and managing other team members. Job sites are located in or near Collingwood and surrounding areas (Clearview, Wasaga, Blue Mountains). We are looking for an experienced, dedicated individual who is interested in furthering their career in the trade and growing with the company.
Duties
- Manage job site as well as 1-2 other employees
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
- Operate landscape equipment
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating basic tools.
- Communicate with project manager to oversee large projects
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition by cleaning and performing minor repairs.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to minimize risks on the job site.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Requirements
- Experience in landscaping, construction, and/or carpentry
- Experience running a jobsite and leading a team
- Machinery operation experience
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions accurately.
- A commitment to teamwork and a positive attitude towards work.
- Must have valid driver's licence and own vehicle.
Wages will be negotiated based on experience.
