About this role
MGB Building Group builds and renovates high-end custom homes across the GTA. We're looking for a sharp, self-driven Social Media Manager to own our presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Someone who understands how to turn real job sites and finished builds into content that gets noticed.
You'll work directly with ownership and the site teams to capture, plan, and publish content that showcases our craftsmanship and grows our audience. This is a hands-on, in-person role for someone who knows the construction or home-building world and treats our brand like their own. You won't be editing or capturing video yourself, but you'll know how to direct it, plan it, and get it posted on schedule.
Who this is for: A seasoned social media pro with at least 7 years of experience who can run multiple platforms without hand-holding, has a strong eye for what performs, and has worked closely with the construction, renovation, or home-building industry. If you can build an audience the way we build homes, we want to meet you.
What you'll do
- Own day-to-day management of all five platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Plan and maintain a consistent content calendar across all channels
- Capture and coordinate content on active job sites and completed builds (photo, short-form video, behind-the-scenes)
- Write engaging captions and copy that reflect our high-end, quality-first brand
- Direct video content and coordinate with editors — you plan and brief it, you don't cut it yourself
- Grow followers and engagement, and report on what's working
- Stay on top of platform trends and adapt our content to each channel
- Engage with comments, messages, and our local audience to build community
What we're looking for
- At least 7 years of hands-on social media management experience across major platforms
- Experience in construction, renovation, home building, or a related trades/industry company
- Proven track record of growing accounts and driving engagement
- Strong copywriting and content-planning skills
- Confident managing multiple platforms and a content calendar independently
- A self-starter who takes initiative and doesn't wait to be told twice

Schedule: Mon–Fri, full-time

Pay: From $80,000/year, based on experience
