We are known for quality craftsmanship, strong communication, and reliable execution. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Project Estimator to join our team.
Position Overview
The Project Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bid proposals for multifamily and commercial exterior projects.
This is a full-time remote position, with periodic company and project meetings (virtual and occasional in-person attendance as required).
Key Responsibilities
- Review architectural and structural drawings to perform detailed quantity take-offs
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for exterior scopes of work
- Analyze project specifications, addendums, and tender documents
- Solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing
- Support bid preparation and proposal submissions
- Maintain organized estimate documentation and cost tracking
- Identify scope gaps, risks, and value engineering opportunities
- Collaborate with project managers and leadership during pre-construction
Qualifications
- 3+ years of construction estimating experience (Preferred Exterior Finishing specific experience)
- Proven experience performing quantity take-offs
- Experience with commercial and/or multifamily construction projects
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Proficiency with estimating software (Bluebeam, JobTread, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar)
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a remote environment
