Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Support mobility, transfers, and physical assistance as required
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Follow individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication
- Promote client safety, independence, and well-being
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Canadian caregiving experience
- PSW certificate or equivalent caregiving experience preferred
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Criminal Record Check
- Minimum 2 COVID-19 vaccinations
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Available for at least 15 hours per week
- Availability for days, evenings, weekends, and/or overnight shifts
- Able to travel within Mississauga
