Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance, providing a valuable foundation for a career in the automotive industry. The apprentice will work closely with experienced technicians to develop essential skills, learn diagnostic procedures, and perform various repair tasks. Duties
- Assist with diagnosing vehicle issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to support repair processes
- Help with vehicle assembly and disassembly during repairs or upgrades
- Support heavy lifting tasks related to parts and equipment handling
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Learn to interpret technical schematics and repair manuals under supervision
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair status and explanations when appropriate
Requirements
- Minimum Block 1 completed and passed
- Basic mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding, and assembly techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to follow schematics, technical instructions, and safety guidelines
- Prior experience with maintenance tasks or automotive repair is a plus
