Job Summary
Dragonfly is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Pickup and Delivery Driver to join our team in Lloydminster. The successful candidate will be responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering packages safely and efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service and adhering to company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver packages, parcels, and shipments according to assigned routes
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to residential and commercial customers
- Load, unload, and organize packages safely within the delivery vehicle
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery records and proof-of-delivery documentation
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and courteously
- Report vehicle maintenance issues, delays, or delivery concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous delivery or courier experience is an asset
- Ability to lift, carry, and move packages of varying sizes and weights
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines
- Familiarity with GPS navigation and route planning tools
