Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Food Preparation Worker to join our team in a dynamic food service environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation, food handling, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. Duties
- Assist with food preparation and cooking tasks according to established recipes and safety guidelines
- Prepare ingredients, assemble dishes, and ensure timely delivery of meals
- Serve food to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Handle food items safely, adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, including equipment and utensils
- Support meal presentation and portion control to meet quality standards
- Follow all food safety regulations and company policies during food service operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a busy environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
