The Process Operator is responsible for performing essential production tasks in the processing area to ensure the safe and efficient production of gelatin.
Some duties include but not limited to:
- Available to work 12-hour shifts, days, nights, and weekends on a rotating shift schedule.
- Collect processing samples
- Load/unload trucks and bins
- Operate forklift (forks & clamps) throughout the facility
- Identify, apply, store chemicals throughout the facility
- Clean equipment and building
- Add chemicals to tanks during CIP
- Trash disposal
- Operate pumps, valves, and pneumatic presses
- Complete processing paperwork
- Data entry in company database
- Follow company policies
- Must follow food safety regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Familiarity in working with stainless steel process equipment
- Experience working in a food, pharma or beverage industry is an asset
- 1-year previous Sanitation experience is a plus (Using cleaning chemicals, pressure hoses, etc.)
- High School Diploma, or equivalent schooling
- Good communication skills, able to communicate professionally, verbally and via e-mail with supervisors and other staff.

This role is scheduled for working 7:00 to 7:00 on a rotating basis of 4 days on followed by 4 days off. Day or night shift to be determined.
Starting Salary: 24.84/hourly
