Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Fire Protection Designer with 3–5 years of North American experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is proficient in AutoCAD and HydraCAD and has a solid understanding of NFPA standards and Ontario Building Code requirements.
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Design fire sprinkler systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards
- Draft detailed system layouts using AutoCAD and HydraCAD
- Coordinate designs with architects and engineers
- Prepare calculations and design documentation
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of fire protection design experience in North America
- Diploma in Fire Sprinkler Design or a related field
- Proficient in AutoCAD and HydraCAD
- Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and Ontario Building Code requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
