Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Summary:
Join our team as a Forklift Operator where you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
Duties:
- Operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing materials
- Perform daily equipment checks and routine maintenance on the forklift
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist in other warehouse duties as needed
Skills:
- Proficiency in operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance
- Experience in warehouse distribution processes
- Ability to perform order picking accurately
- Strong basic math skills for inventory management
- Capability to handle heavy lifting as required
- Certification or experience with forklifts, order pickers, and clamp trucks
Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification
- Prior experience as a Forklift Operator preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
