Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of beverage preparation, and experience in food and drink service. As a key member of our establishment, you will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests while ensuring accurate order taking and responsible alcohol service. This role requires excellent time management, cash handling skills, and familiarity with POS systems to deliver a seamless experience for our patrons.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling accurately.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling regulations to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Manage cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, glassware, utensils, and bar equipment throughout the shift.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy hours.
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure timely service delivery.
Experience
- Previous experience in restaurant or food industry settings is preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and creating positive guest interactions.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, bill splitting, and inventory management.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining high-quality service standards. Compensation: $17.60 + Gratuities
