Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Consultant to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in cloud architecture, application development, and infrastructure management across various cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and OpenStack. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud solutions that align with business needs, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. The Azure Consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative cloud-based applications and services, leveraging modern DevOps practices and automation tools to streamline deployment processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and govern secure AWS cloud architectures in a regulated insurance and financial services environment
- Define and enforce cloud security standards | guardrails | and reference architecturesEmbed security into cloud platforms | CICD pipelines | and infrastructure as codeEnsure compliance with regulatory | risk | privacy | and enterprise security requirementsPartner with cloud | infrastructure | application | and risk teams to enable secure cloud adoptionLead threat modeling | security design reviews | and cloud security assessmentsRequired Skills Experience:
- Proven experience as a Cloud Security Architect with strong AWS expertise
- Deep knowledge of AWS security services (IAM | KMS | CloudTrail | Security Hub | GuardDuty | etc.)
- Experience with DevSecOps | IaC (Terraform CloudFormation) | and automation
- Strong understanding of identity | network security | data protection | and Zero Trust principles
- Experience working in regulated environments (insurance | BFSI | or similar)
- AWS Security or cloud security certifications preferred
Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
