Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Janitor/Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained, contributing to a clean and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks, handling minor maintenance, and supporting overall facilities upkeep.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in various areas of the facility
- Conduct deep cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure sanitation standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, walls, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or fixing minor repairs to ensure proper facility operation
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and cleaning products as needed
- Follow safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment handling
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and safety procedures is a plus
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate loads as needed
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Pay: $16.75-$18.00 per hour
