Duties and Responsibilities for Carpenters:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Assisting supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation
- Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required.
- Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials.
- Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment.
- Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.
Qualifications for Carpenters:
- A minimum of 5 years of construction industry experience, and at least 1 year experience with carpentry
- In-depth knowledge of BC Building Codes
- Adaptable to a fast-paced environment, effectively juggling multiple tasks and competing deadlines.
- Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, with trades, vendors, and other crew members
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
