Position Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate / Driver to join our growing team. This position involves warehouse operations, material handling, equipment organization, and deliveries to various job sites. The successful candidate must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Hours of Work
- Typical working hours are between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM
- Daily start and finish times may vary based on operational requirements
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment in the warehouse
- Deliver materials, tools, and equipment to job sites
- Safely secure and strap down equipment and materials for transport
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of company vehicles
- Assist with inventory management and warehouse organization
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Assist with other warehouse and yard duties as required
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence (higher class licence considered an asset)
- Previous experience driving trucks and transporting equipment and materials
- Experience securing loads and operating safely during transport
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Forklift experience is considered an asset
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive wage of $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
