Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure guest rooms, common areas, and other designated spaces are spotless, welcoming, and well-maintained. This role is essential in providing a positive experience for all visitors and staff, contributing to the overall reputation of our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas according to established standards
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish supplies as needed
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces to ensure a pristine environment
- Dispose of trash and recyclables properly in designated containers
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to maintain a safe work environment
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition and notify management of any repairs needed
Skills
- Previous custodial or cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
- Good time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and safety protocols is a plus
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
