Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, mechanical knowledge, and excellent customer service skills. This role involves performing tire installations, repairs, and maintenance while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Prior dealership or mechanic experience is highly valued, and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance procedures is essential. The Tire Technician will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our customers and maintaining the safety and performance of their vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace tires on a variety of vehicles using hand tools and power tools
- Perform wheel alignments, balancing, and other related services to ensure proper vehicle operation
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential issues related to tires or suspension systems
- Assist customers with tire selections, sales, and maintenance recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot tire-related problems and recommend appropriate solutions
- Lift heavy tires safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and tools used in tire servicing
Experience
- Dealership experience or previous work as a mechanic is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems and tire technology
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and automotive maintenance procedures
- Customer service experience with a focus on providing professional assistance and advice
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during tire installations or repairs
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes is advantageous but not mandatory for entry-level candidates willing to learn
Pay: $20.00-$34.00 per hour
