Climate Works Heating, Cooling & Plumbing is a trusted provider of residential and commercial HVAC and plumbing services. As we continue to expand throughout the Greater Toronto Area, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Mississauga market.
This is an exciting opportunity for a relationship-focused sales professional who enjoys developing new business, creating strategic partnerships, and making a measurable impact on company growth.
Position Summary
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and expanding Climate Works' presence within the residential HVAC and plumbing market. A significant focus will be developing partnerships with restoration companies, insurance professionals, property managers, builders, and other referral sources.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans for the Mississauga and GTA market.
- Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and community engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with:
- Restoration companies
- Insurance adjusters
- Property managers
- Home builders
- Realtors
- Residential customers
- Identify new revenue opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Represent Climate Works at networking events, trade shows, and industry functions.
- Collaborate with internal operations and customer service teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular reporting on business development activities.
- Stay informed of industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, outside sales, or account management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Strong networking and prospecting abilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growing a territory.
- Valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable transportation.
