With this in mind, RPI Consulting Group is recruiting 1-2 Registered Nurses to assist with taking care of our residents for 2-3 consecutive 12-hour Night shifts per week on an ongoing basis with ongoing throughout the year!! This is a long-term relief assignment will have you working in the community at a Retirement community located 1 hour north of Moncton.
This is all outstanding opportunity for you to care for our residents will offer you juicy 12-hour shifts, from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM!!!
We offer flexible schedules with 12-hour Night Shifts at 2-3 days/week, and competitive remuneration at $50 - 55/hour. Accommodations will be provided for those that require it.
This would be for a one month contract to start, with contract extensions available.
Please note that you will be given adequate training, preparation, and personal protective equipment as needed!!
Start Date: ASAP
Shift Schedule: Weekdays + Weekends
Schedules: 12 hour Nights ~ 6:30pm-6:30am ~ 2-3 consecutive days/week
Location: The Greater Moncton Area!
Note: You would only be scheduled to work at one site during your work assignment.
Duties of the Registered Nurse:
- Use thermal screening technology to track body temperature and check for related potential outward symptoms of people entering the location when needed
- Document the incoming and outgoing guests’ condition, and nursing needs
- Accurately and promptly implement orders from supervising authorities
- You will take immediate action to treat any patients in the facility who are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms including fever, coughing, difficulty breathing, and symptoms associated with pneumonia
- You will provide general nursing care for patients under your care. This may include treating for fatigue; injuries from slips, trips, and falls; and other medical emergencies that might occur
- Ensure that nursing supplies are utilized economically and that equipment is clean and maintained in a safe manner
- Provide daily reports and records of pertinent observations and reactions regarding patients
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a two-year post-secondary nursing program
- Registered Nurse registration with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and supervisors
- Demonstration of critical thinking and prioritization skills
- Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work effectively with the team and patients
- Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving skills
- Up to date liability and malpractice insurance
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Current CPR/ AED and Standard First Aid certification
- At least one year of experience working in a Long-Term Care, Nursing home, or hospital setting as a licensed practical nurse.
