Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Fixed Operations Manager to oversee our dealership’s service and parts departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive/powersports repair, dealership operations, and exceptional customer service skills. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker who can drive operational efficiency, enhance customer satisfaction, and increase profitability through effective management of service technicians, parts staff, and sales initiatives. The Fixed Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the dealership’s fixed operations while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
Duties
- Manage daily operations of the service and parts departments to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Lead, motivate, and develop service technicians and parts staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Oversee repair processes, ensuring high-quality automotive repairs are completed in a timely manner.
- Implement upselling strategies to maximize revenue from service and parts sales while maintaining customer trust.
- Handle cash transactions, billing, and financial reporting related to department activities.
- Coordinate with sales teams to promote service packages and maintenance plans to customers.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, dealership policies, and industry standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer satisfaction scores, repair order volume, and revenue targets.
- Develop training programs for staff to improve technical skills and customer interaction capabilities.
- Address customer concerns promptly to uphold dealership reputation and foster long-term relationships.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dealership management or automotive/powersports service management is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience is advantageous for understanding repair processes.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
- Sales experience with a focus on upselling automotive services or parts.
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures, industry standards, and best practices.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and manage financial records effectively.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and drive results.
- Dealership experience is a plus; familiarity with dealership software systems is desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Pay: $85,000.00-$235,000.00 per year
