Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and heavy equipment operation. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment that values safety, efficiency, and teamwork. Prior warehouse experience and mechanical knowledge are highly desirable to ensure smooth daily operations.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Assist with order picking, packaging, and order fulfillment processes to meet customer demands
- Manage shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation within warehouse management systems such as RAMP & SHOPIFY
- Conduct inventory counts and maintain organized storage areas for optimal workflow
- Support warehouse distribution activities by loading and unloading materials with heavy lifting requirements
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all operations involving heavy equipment operation and material handling
- Maintaining Showroom through replenishing / pulling products.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a warehouse setting or in manufacturing environments is preferred
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems such as RAMP is a plus
- Experience operating heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks and order pickers is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge or background in construction or manufacturing is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift
- Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures and order fulfillment processes
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution practices and inventory management systems
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking, packaging, and load/unload activities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while adhering to safety standards
- Must be legal to work in Canada & Must be able to pass a Background check.
